Battling Lung Cancer and Overcoming Stigma – Video with Taylor Bell Duck and Scott Balderson, P.A.

Dr. Norma Goodwin, President of Health Power For Minorities, interviews former star soccer player Taylor Bell Duck, a non-smoker who was diagnosed with lung cancer at age 21, and her physician assistant Scott Balderson.

Taylor’s experience shows that lung cancer doesn’t discriminate and can strike anyone at any age whether he or she is a smoker. After removal of her cancer, she is a 9-year survivor who is on a mission to advocate for others facing lung cancer through ‘Your Cancer Game Plan’. This awareness campaign helps those with cancer and their caregivers to take an active role in developing a “game plan” to support their journey.
