Plasma or Blood Plasma

Plasma or Blood Plasma is the yellowish colored liquid part of the blood that the body’s blood cells are suspended in. The concept is similar to the stream that fish swim in. In other words, blood cells in plasma together = blood, and blood is necessary in order to live.

Immune cells that fight infection travel in the plasma along with red blood cells and white blood cells.
