Health Power is committed to improving the health of multicultural/racial and ethnic minority populations/minorities/people of color.  Our commitment is demonstrated by the fact that our nationally unique website is independently identified by Google, Yahoo and Bing as the leading source of health information for minorities, worldwide.
 
Our 10 or more blog posts monthly bring loads of information to improve the physical, mental and spiritual health of minorities. In addition, our more than 2,000 website pages bring a broad mix of additional health information for physical, mental and spiritual health.
 
Launched after several years of service, challenge and learning from our first website, as well as related work with many organizations and individuals, the current Health Power website includes:
 
 that is consistent with leading contemporary, or current, changes in cyberspace/online; 
 
.  This means that information on our web site is carefully researched by our team, as indicated, in order to provide user widely accepted health and medical information;
 
 
, which makes it possible for our users to understand what various health related terms mean, without having to read long descriptions with professional or technical terms;
 
 , with separate Food and Fitness Branches.  The Food Branch contains numerous recipes by type (like breakfast, lunch, soups, salads, etc) by celebrities and other notables, and by cultural specialty (like African American and Caribbean, Hispanic, Asian, and American Indian recipes). Both branches contain , on such subjects as: 
 
Shopping Smart, Cooking Good, Eating Healthy;
Weight Control, Wise Drinking, Getting in Shape;
Moving for the Health of it; Walking for Fitness;
Starting an Exercise Routine or Sport
 
– African American Channel and its Caribbean Circuit, Hispanic/Latino; Asian Pacific Islander and Native Indian/American Indian Channels;
 
– Key information on racial and ethnic health disparities (illnesses that result in many multicultural people being sick too long, and/or dying too soon). Our highest priority is addressing what we call our Big 4 Special Targets: Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension, and Heart Disease. Other health disparities addressed include:  Asthma; Cancer; HIV/AIDS; Infant Mortality; Substance Abuse; and Violence.
 
 – A calendar that publicizes key conferences and other events throughout the year.
