PLAN WHAT TO DO DURING YOUR 1st QUIT SMOKING WEEK
Select from the list below and select or add whatever you want to
 
Go to the movies or theatre one or more times.
Get involved, or more involved, in a hobby.
Get involved, or more involved, in a community activity.
Get involved, or more involved, in church.
Play table games like cards, checkers, dominoes, bingo, trivia pursuit, and chess with non-smoking friends.
Go shopping, but don’t spend more than you should.
Go window shopping if it won’t cause stress by seeing things you want to buy, but may not be able to.
Remember, stress may make you want to smoke.
Read a good book, or several good books.
Start a walking group.
Take a dance class.
Take a computer course.
Take a course on something else you think you would enjoy.
Avoid situations where others might be smoking.
Avoid drinking alcohol because that may stimulate you to smoke.
