Aetna featured Health Power’s President, Dr. Norma Goodwin, and Health Power in its 2008 calendar on African American History, for the month of May, because of their achievements and contributions related to “Health Literacy”.
As Dr. Goodwin stood in Times Square, she emphasized that “Health Power’s goal is to provide health information that causes change. People can’t understand until they have (needed) information”.
